My Fairy Tale
The totems, titled “Storytellers of the Earth,” are unique works of art, each designed in different sizes, shapes, and textures. These totems reflect the diversity and depth of nature itself. Some are massive and imposing, while others are human-sized or even smaller. Each one features cracks, imperfections, and natural patterns on its surface, bearing the marks of the earth. This raw and unprocessed appearance evokes a primal sense of authenticity, as if they were monuments shaped by time and the elements.
The use of simple, natural materials in the totems connects the viewer with a pure aesthetic, free from artificiality. The textures on them are not just a visual detail, but also offer an experience that appeals to the sense of touch. The rough surfaces bear the traces of lived experience, while the smooth parts evoke tranquility and harmony. This contrast also reveals the duality in man's relationship with nature.
Totems have a profound effect on the viewer. These works, which draw people to themselves, go beyond being mere objects of art. They are tools that invite the viewer to confront fundamental questions of existence. Questions such as “Where did we come from?”, “What is our connection to nature?”, and “How do we relate to the divine?” are hidden in the silent language of totems. In this sense, the work is also proof of how art can intertwine with philosophy and spiritual quests.
